Only problem with a wok lid is I can't use it hooked on the side as a windbreaker.

So, what happened to the original lid?

Have you tried getting in touch with Cadac to see if they can supply one?

We had a problem with the surface peeling off the flat tray. Sent an e-mail to them with a photo showing the problem and supplied a replacement F.O.C. within a few days

Well I could spin a few tales...

Sons used it for sledging.

Grandma turned it into a bird bath.

I drove over it by accident.

But really....

We bought a cadac carri chef but it was lidless.

you can by buying a flat plate coat hook and rivetting to the lid......cut off the long bit above the two holes....you can easily work out where to drill and rivet.

Effectively, its exactly the same as the proper thing.

in a word....No. :roflmto:

Open the handles, push a rivet in the end of the short tube, push the exposed end of the rivet through the drilled hole in the metal and squeeze the handles together...job done.

If the wok lid has a wooden handle (most have) then drill a hole and screw in a large cup hook ... ::bigsmile:

Sadly not, we are going to Chester food festival though are you? And scotch as a currency is an inspired ideal. I normally deal in homemade cakes! ::bigsmile:
