We were going to ask the same question as we found a really good deal (we thought) at just over £300 in May with an inside cabin. We guessed it would cost us just as much to go via eurotunnel and drive down to the (hopefully) better weather. I read reviews on the ship and they seemed good. I might pack a nice lunch and some wine to save on buying overpriced food on board.:thumb:

We are also travelling on the 25th Feb. Not been with LD lines before but will hope for the best. We will be in an Auto Trail Apache. Must meet up somewhere, we hope to be going down through Portugal and ending up on the Spanish rally on the 5th March. I think there is an aire in Gijon so hope to stay there the first night.

Yes we will be on the same ship and hope to stay on the aire at the docks in Gijon. We could meet up somewhere on the ship but not been on it before so not sure of the layout. I will check round and see if I can get an idea of the ship areas. We could meet up in the bar area.

Looks like we can have a Fun meet on the ship. I will be taking the Stugeron before we sail.

A friend just came back on that route. Said that the Bay of Biscay was choppy but when the boat went round the 'corner' to go down to Gijon then it got really rough. I suppose it is completly exposed to the Atlantic storms.
