Hi All,
I'm after a couple of tubes of Sikaflex 512 - not getting from ebay as a lot have like three days before expiry - some don't say so a bit risky, seems a lot are trying to jettison their old stock.

Anyone know a good place to get it?

Regards,

Trikeman. :winky:

Hi Graham,
I tried Screwfix first as there's one near me but they don't seem to stock it - well not according to their website. They have Sikaflex EBT? whatever that is and something called 'sticks like shit to a blanket'?? but don't want to take risks with solar panel fitment.
:roflmto:

Which reminds me DONT get a cheapo mastic gun. It is likely to burst into pieces pushing Sikaflex out at low temperatures :roflmto:

I use one of these, often found much dearer!

Sorry, didn't notice the 512 bit.

However, before I bought I did some Googling. From memory, I read that 512 is the branding used to sell EBT at higher prices for use on motorhomes/caravans

EBT worked fine for me but I agree with Trikeman - warm it up before use because it doesn't half take some squeezing out of the gun when cold
