I'm wanting to go of this weekend so can anyone recommend a site that will be open around the lakes or dales or Whitby please

Look on uk campsites for open all year.
Dont think there is any open in the lakes

We went here end November, nice small site up on moors can't say facilities anything but very basic really but we used it as a simple base for a couple of nights with electric hook up .... Think it depends how self sufficient you are .... Weather forecast doesn't look too good. We had a nice couple of days out though at Sandsend and Whitby but it wasn't raining! its on pitchup.

Scotgate holiday park in braithwaite, just west of keswick is open all year. Bus outside site, three pubs walkable with good food.
Fantastic views.
Expensive though...

castlerigg hall (not the farm) is just outside Keswick and has stunning views over derwentwater. cracking site
