I'm a newbie
After weeks of collecting and family and friends getting stuff for us for Christmas the van is kitted out. We have been of in it already but no more putting things in just before we go and taking back out.

Which could be the start of an endless discussion - just what do people leave in the MH?

I always leave enough clothes, bedding, food and beer, to be able to just jump in and survive for a couple of days. I love spontaneity :Smile:

Van is our other ' home' and has everything of its own. Always change shower gel , shampoo etc for full ones on return. Same for washing powder washing up liquid. Always a small store cupboard and all spices etc . No need to put in anything except clothes and tip remnants of house fridge :))

Easy peasy :thumb:

Always ready to go. Caroline takes most of her stuff out so if we decide last minute to go it's a bit of fun watching her rush about packing..............:ROFLMAO::Smile:

We are in the process of selling our house, every time we have a viewing, we go and stay in the van ( on the drive) so it is kitted out as if we were just about to go away.
Trouble is, it takes us longer and longer to return to the house every time.
Viewing was 10:30 today. Got in the van at 9. went to the beach, filled up with LPG, cooked dinner and cleared up. Back home by 2, back in the house at 4!

On return
Fridge emptied
Wine rack re-filled::bigsmile:
Leave clothes coats wellies etc on board,
Store cupboard kept full of dry and tinned goodies.

Just take out valuables... Bikes, tv, sat nav whenever we are home.

Can be off in a flash, just take fresh goodies from the fridge, so they don't go off, grab a few extra clothes and we are off.

Harder to leave home tidy than get MH ready ::bigsmile:
