Even though we have lived in Spain for the last eleven years we have never ventured further west than Cadiz. We always gone east towards France or Italy.
Fancy Porto or Lisbon in Portugal this coming year.
Does anyone know of any good ,reasonably priced sites other than ACSI in these areas ?
Regards and happy new year to all.::bigsmile:

Chickenrun

The Chickenrun rural camp site is just outside Portimao.

Rustic, no loo, showers etc.

But lovely owners, friendly and helpful.

We had a few days there this year and really enjoyed ourselves :thumb::thumb:

Chicken Run is great... but a long way from Lisbon and even further from Porto.

Hi.
You could try Orbitur ? sites, however, there are lots of places to park free,(wild camp) in super surroundings. We are between Porto and Lisbon, often go to Pria de Miara,on the coast, lots of places to park free just out of town,Figero de Foz. huge free parking just on the north side of the river mouth ,but make sure your water is full,as it is a 10 min drive to get some, cafe bars just across the road. There are lots more, someone will be along to fill the gaps in. Barragems, dams, with river beaches etc,
