It is very windy down here.

My tacky LED cherry tree is down again and my singing snowmen are lying down. Peeing it down too.

Very festive::bigsmile:

We have headed north early this morning to beat the Armageddon which was forecast. We are now pitched up at the CC site in sunny (not) Knaresborough. :rain:

So long as its open on 6th January when we will be heading off chasing the sun, then Im not too concerned. :Cool:

I bet it will be mayhem on the 6th Jan as it will be first day back to work for many. :Eeek:

I think you will be ok at that time.

The toll will be free before 6am so that will free up any lingering problems quicker.

Good luck:thumb:

Lying down I can understand but peeing as well? Won't it ruin the lawn?

I can tell you it is Armageddon out there on the M25 and the Tunnel. I have just come back from the cinema in Bluewater and it took me 45 minutes to leave the car park. Had to go the long way round as its absolute gridlocked all around Dartford.

Safe travels on the road all.

The weather is terrible out there, I drove to Brighton then on to Bournmouth, only managed 30mph on the M27:Sad: as for the M3 on my way home there were drivers doing at least 80mph with very little visibility, I nearly spilt my yoghurt:ROFLMAO:

Quite windy here. Took the dogs out for a walk at about 6pm, just out of the driveway and a very strong gust of wind came, almost knocked me over and our poor beagle got knocked off his feet, twice. Luckily, our other dog is a Labrador and built like a tank so we followed her around the block

Chris, tell the snowmen to lay off the sprouts and there will be less wind, and also to stop peeing on the LED cherry tree.......... I think they may have been at the sherry left out a bit early for Santa.

......either that or I'm on my second glass of shandy......:winky:

Made it to Liverpool - left Sandwich at 4.40am, headed along the Thanet expressway and got turned off and sent through Seasalter which was a nightmare. Damaged the trim on a fallen tree :Sad:

Finally got on to the A2 which was wild but as soon as we got to Rochester it cleared.

M25, M1 & M6 were very quiet so the rest of the journey was great. ::bigsmile:

Apparently, it was fallen power cables that closed the road. Good to see you got there ok
