Just started the van uo and noticed that the scheduled service spanner has come on and the generic failure indication (the triangle) - both glowing a faint amber.
Anyone know if these two lights are linked? the service spanner isn't an issue as the van had a full service recently, it is the other light coming on that is causing concern.

many many years! since I was a kid
the answer is to plug in a code reader, check for listed faults and reset them. if the lights come back on get the van to a workshop for investigation/repair

code readers available on eBay under £20

On Friday I rang the local Fiat Dealer, all they could do was 'take a look' in January....could give no advice on the phone.

I rang the Motorhome Depot in Redditch http://www.themotorhomedepot.com/ and they immediately offered to look at it today.

Went in this morning, left it with them for 2 hours and they advised it may be the dashboard. No coded faults being reported on their box of tricks and the checks on the van showed nothing. The 2 lights had now gone out, but they advised they'd done nothing to cause this to happen. Apparently dashboard problems are not unknown!
Anyway, drove away, no warning lights on and so far, all ok.
The charge - nothing, all part of the service.

Since 2005
whatever brought the lights on, they shouldnt be glowing dimly....they should both be brightly lit.

looks to me like an electrical fault on the dash cluster/wiring loom.
