Job done...
13 marathon distance or over races in the year 13.
Starting in April the journey has been long tough and not without tears...
Today I was in big trouble, Friday had seen me laid up in bed with noravirus, yesterday I felt a little better so headed off to guisbourough for roseberry topping ultra.
I was going to quit at mile 4 as I was struggling, by mile 7 I was sure I should give up. At mile 20 I had perfected the art of throwing up and running at the same time accross some real tough moorland... By mile 29 I was hopelessly lost thanks to some kids moving some route tape. I kept going lost in guisbourough forest until I eventually found my way again.
Bang on 34 and a bit miles, I was home and finished.....in pain but alive...
And with my medal and pride in tact,
Monies raised topped £800 ....
Next up ?
Who knows, but probably not until the new year:thumb:
Thanks funsters who have supported.
