Never cease to be amazed by the stuff I don't know about Spain

Happy to say that the van passed her Spanish MOT(ITV) today with flying colours and was delighted to be sold by the " technico " that the van had no problems and that all was good...... "Except for that", pointing at the steering wheel knob installed to aid arthritic hands. "In Spain, those are illegal and if stopped by police it could lead to a fine !!", we were told, and he suggested we remove it.
So, be warned of the possibility anybody using a steering wheel aid, thingy.

Regards, Bryan

PS: Has been on van for 3 years without problem...... admittedly we have never been stopped, so will take my chances with the Guardia et al.

Not long enough, but a little common sense helps..........

Bryan, just nipped round to local police station here and asked about "steering wheel knob" ( should him picture ) and he just laughed at me!!!!!!!! He stated that if they were to stop every lorry driver that drove through our village with one fitted/installed they would not be able to police in the normal way....... He did add you might and it is a BIG might find that the Guardia Civil could fine you, but do not worry abut it.........

So you can play with you knob a bit longer.............................
