As I wanted to buy a Spanish gas regulator before I go to Spain I sent off to SOCAL and bought one which cost around £20, would you believe it I went to the car boot on Sunday and spotted one on a stall and paid £2 for it.

€9 in Spain... Just go to any Chinese bazarr shop...
Exact same as the ones they sell you in the camping shops for €15-20

BUT £2 :thumb:

Watch out for used ones, many can and do go faulty.. Always buy new...

The first one with the flip up top is a regulator..

The second one with big red knob is an adaptor, If you use this you can place bottle in your gas locker and connect on to your onboard regulator...

Thanks for posting the pictures I was just about to try but probably without success.

The one on the left is like the one I found at the car boot but the one from SOCAL is a different model. And just to confirm the one on the right is not a regulator, I have two of those as well which I used in conjunction with the caravans built in regulator last year.

Correct the one on the right IS NOT A REGULATOR...
Just an adaptor with an on / off screw....
