I posted this on another thread earlier. I'm a newbie, does it show:Doh:

Evening all

We're getting very close to buying a new motorhome if I can strike the right deal tomorrow.
Buying through Brownhills in Newark, I got all the extras I wanted but it's more about the service & back-up.

What do you think?

You could fling a ten pound bung to jim
you can ask as much as you like
and receive sensible advice all year

Plus a few leg pulls but then they just keeps your thread running:thumb:

Yes It does show and some people did reply to you...
In the past, Brownhills had a lot of bad press, offering poor service and backup.
It can still get people worked up just saying the name.

There were a big company with quite a few depots but been a few company changes over the years... Not really sure what they are like now...

As a dealer you wont really know what they are like until you have a problem..

Do a web search.. Brownhills, motorhomes, reviews.... see what comes up..

started when I was 11 with my parents-forgot to stop!been real one since 1980!
Bought my Hymers from Madisons and then Brownhills. When they closed Preston down I went to Newark for warranty checks they have improved and our still working hard to improve their customer service. I did have some problems with Preston latterly but Newark sorted everything out for me. Its is a drag to get to Newark, when the van is out of warranty I may consider the nearest new Hymer dealer in Telford.
