The main sites around the circuit are always packed and expensive. They tend to be whole packages of camping and entertainment, with food, security everything. They can sell out many times over and walking distance to the circuit is a big premium.

Woodlands is within the circuit and has a large entertainment village and is generally well run. It does get very full, but, they do try to separate motorhomes, caravans and tents. They also have family areas and quiet areas.... In Woodlands they have a no animals and no glass policy.

Litchlake Farm is opposite the main entrance and is very lively, a really good atmosphere, Whittlebury Park is also next to the circuit (think Hanger Straight) and again has a full package of events. Dadford Road is also within walking distance (Club Corner). This is normally the cheapest, but is an open field. Hamilton Fields is a bit further out, about a mile, never tried that one, but heard good things.

There are plenty of small sites that spring up for the weekend, you need to watch the internet, the rally school have used their car park in the past for motorhomes.

Hi
Just checked with friends, they used the temp site put up on the sports field in the village last year and were very happy. Flat charge of £150 for up to 5 nights, you are in the village and they said it took 30 minutes to walk in last year. Good facilities, meals available, entertainment etc. Details on http://www.grandprixcamping.co.uk/

It just isn't cheap!
