As title . Am looking for any recommendations on C & CC sites or CS s , for an overnight stopover in that area. MH going in to Stowmarket Caravans for a bit of work on Saturday this week. Within 15-20 miles of them would be fine .Thanks in advance for any suggestions .

If you are coming from the west, Bury St Edmunds has 5 m/home spaces for overnight parking. Free if you leave by 8am, otherwise normal parking charges apply.

I've stayed there on a couple of occasions on the way to visit customers who are between B-St-Ed & Stowmarket.

Leave at 7.55am, breakfast in a convenient lay-by & arrive relaxed at 9am ready to do a day's work.

Ok if you don't need any facilities & has the advantage that you can arrive when you like (usually around midnight in my case  ).

In that case ideal - not many campsites would welcome you at that time of night!

Don't plan on a lie in unless your sound-proofing is good. I don't know about a Saturday, but on weekday mornings vehicles start moving about from 6.30 - 7am.
