Can't believe it. Our static sold on Thursday night, it's taken about 6 weeks and we've used this time to thoroughly research what we wanted. We found our lovely new van today. It's a 3 yr old Ford Transit Jumbo, same size as a VW Crafter/Merc Sprinter which we originally wanted. So so so excited to be back on the van camping circuit ::bigsmile:

Been researching conversions a while now. So decision needing to be made next 2 weeks on where we go for a decent one. Anyone who's had any great experiences please feel free to let us know. Word of mouth is everything. Hoping to be out over the new year for our first run, even if the van is half-finished. So pleased we joined this, must have been good luck :thumb:

Thanks for that, there's some wonderful layouts for a big jumbo isn't there ::bigsmile: We've found a local, reputable place that actually does U-shaped RnR beds !!!!!!!! So pleased. He's also said he can do our conversion in stages, this means we could technically be in the van for our first few days over the new year. Just with bed/cook/sink and fully lined insulated with electrics. Soooo excited now. :wine:
