OK first night in motorhome went to a local site in ware Hertfordshire.
When plugging into hook up managed to trip main trip on RCD may have had every thing on!
reset on turned off plugged in everything ok.
Also tested my generator and confirmed this will not start when switched to the off position!
few questions should you leave in gear when leveling on chocks?
Could not get a good signal on television have not got disc but a thing that looks like a satellite do you need to raise these or do something did not go up on roof to look yet.
Have drained out all water, dumped water from boiler (dropped out on its own other day) emptied toilet anything else needed for cold weather ?
few pictures

Since 2005
easier to leave in gear and handbrake set on ramps.

i drive up ramp, handbrake on then hold on clutch while switching off the engine.
that way the gearbox is taking some weight off the handbrake, which will roll back slightly on the suspension arms.

if the disc on the roof is a sat dish it has to be raised to an exact position (20 to 30deg depending where you are in the UK) then rotated to an exact position (28.2deg east) to 'see' the satellite.

a degree or two out either up or down or sideways and you wont get a picture....and you need either a freesat enabled tv or a digital satellite receiver box to receive sat TV.

draining water.......as you have done but remove shower hose and open and blow down the tap if possible and leave all taps open and mixer taps open and centralised.

if taps freeze they split and cant be repaired.

If it's not a sat dish you have there may well be a booster in the wardrobe for the arial I have a app for finding best signal and rotate accordingly

Enjoy :) You seem ti have got it covered! Interested to know where the site in Ware is as Bob's Mum and Dad live in Ware (for the past 56 years) and we did not know there is a site nearby. Could be very useful to know! Many thanks, Jane
Is your Ridgeback friendly as our little Izzy would like to know

Lovely photos and congratulations

Just coz you've drained down for winter doesnt stop you coming to Waldegraves in Essex this coming weekend if you fancy it, its not too far for you and I am sure you will have a lovely time. There are site toilets and showers so you wont need to refill your water tanks.
