I cannot find the thread but someone advised buying a folder and some clear document holdets. Het then advised of the documentation you should carry. Can someone advise me on the paperwork to carry. Also do you take your log book abroad?

I always carry Insurance, MOT, Log Book, Driving Licence(s), Passports and Recovery Policy + photocopies of all of them.
Certain items such as the Log Book are a requirement and you can find yourself facing a hefty fine (130 Euros I think) if you can't produce it on demand.

I carry all the above plus all the user manuals for everything in the van.

yes has stated carry the doc's and if required try using the photocopies in case they wonder off with the originals. Pete

Don't forget your insurance documents, the best thing is to make up a folder with ALL your documents in to take with you in the van. :thumb:

You have to carry originals when abroad...
Like others, we have photocopies of all important documents and keep them in a folder.. I also have some as saved digitally on "dropbox"..
