Can anyone tell me if it is possible to cange which end a sliding window opens from?

with the seitz one you can remove and turn over

I presume you mean the whole window with frame etc?
It would then have to be resealed, with what, exactly.
A flexible non setting type I think.

yes ribbon mastic or a non setting sika having said that i stuck mine in with proper setting sika sealant ,way i see it if the frame is damaged bad enough to need removing ill cut the frame out in sections
