Left Oswestry.... nice run to here = www.rynys-camping.co.uk

What a little gem.... little bit of heaven with views to die for....

Just park where you want. EHU points every where.... water up near the basic shower and toilet block... (Ideal to fill up before you get here, I didn`t and had to make a few journeys with 20litre container and pump into tank)

A lot of grass pitches, but some are dead level,,

The approach road of the A5 is single track up a steep hill,,,, do-able for any Eurovan... But a "NO".. "NO" for RV`s and 5th wheels.. Approx quarter mile up the track from the A5, and only leads to the site...

It was misty when we got here, but the sun is coming out...

Bootiful quiet tranquil site, highly recommended, with fabulous vista... :thumb::thumb:

The first photo is from the gents toilet... Room with a view..

Other`s are of the site... only about 5 units here, so place to ourselves... ::bigsmile:

Photo`s don't do it justice... :thumb:

Not the hill , Ian it`s the width of the road... :thumb:

Anyway.... I`m thinking of having Caravan Motor Movers put on the back four wheels... :Tongue1:

So the best of both worlds... :winky:::bigsmile:

Gareth is a chum and he is very keen on providing the BEST camping experience and his yurt is well worth a try for a 'glamping' w/e!

Glad you found 'gods own', shame you had to tell the world, the strings we had to pull to allow you to get there, must keep standards up you know, too many riff raff.

By the way, just up the road from you is Capel Garmon, I was in digs there in the mid 1980's. There was a nice pub there called the White Horse.

I also had a flat in Llanrwst and the view from the bedroom was this,

Llanrwst%20b-L.jpg

Went back there a few years ago, all changed, all the people I knew gone. My old friend David John, Ham radio, Ex RAF WWII, then a tanner, died alone in Colwyn Bay, a really nice bloke.
And another who was a barman (Ted) in the Eagles hotel was at the Battle of Arnhem.

I had some happy days there.
