base vehicle is 09 Pugeout Boxer. I find it very hard to change the gears and really hard to put into reverse and two hands are needed
going up and down the gears thro the gate is difficult but achievabe. clutch seems Ok tho
What do the experts feel may be wrong

Dragging clutch due to contamination or siezed spigot bearing?

Just an educated guess!:thumb:

could be the control cables, our volvo trucks use the same kind of cables,
some will last years , some might do 3 years.
ps ...i dont think the previous comment really helps,(seville base) why do people always think the big yank tanks are better than euro vehicles , i know which i'd .rather have..:thumb:

just my opinion..

Check the gear change linkages. (as stated above)

Not done it myself so I don't know how much effort is required (or at what ease) - if you disconnect the linkage at the gearbox you would be able to ascertain if it was the linkage or the box.

my money was on the flux capacitor

Great Scott! I was sure it was a malfunction in the Mr Fusion Home Energy Reactor gear connections

Yep, seems fairly priced....TBH they could have charged me a full days labour and I would be none the wiser, sounds like you have a good honest technician there.

might as well have been from the none-descript work carried out....

which pivot....clutch fork ?....selector arm ?

what bracket ?
either way, 2.5hrs sounds a long time, about the same as a cambelt change, and £3.50 for grease/wd40 :Eeek:
