caster wheel trailers (1 Viewer)

as I will be changing my motor home soon. Looks like the new one will be longer and reversing the motorcycle trailer is going to get even more difficultoh: so I've been looking at the caster wheel type. I seem to remember some bad press on these (but can not locate any) any experience or information on these would be nice Thanks:thumb:

I looked closely at these for carrying a scooter, quite expensive as I recall due to the engineering required to ensure the wheel is man enough for the job and to make sure you won't get the wobbles or bounces when driving at speed.

A bit pricey,but I have seen a few when over there the other day, if your new motorhome has a rear camera fitted,then with a bit of practice it,s not that difficult to reverse your motorcycle trailer ( I,m 30ft with a 12ft Phoenix trailer) just take your time and watch the trailer on the monitor very closely for the slightest movement left or right and steer accordingly. :thumb:

Mixed reviews over the years but I know of one funster who's had one for some years

Vitesse max : 90 km/H

max speed 56mph

trailer speed limits....50mph on A roads....60mph on motorways

not much good on motorways....and for many, on A roads either.
