BOUGHT THE GRANDSON ONE OF THOSE ELECTRIC QUADS, BATTERIES ARE TWO 6 VOLT CONNECTED TOGETHER INLINE. DO I NEED TO CHARGE THEM WITH A 12 VOLT CHARGER OR A 6 VOLT CHARGER?????

If they are connected + to + and - to - (parallel) then you need a 6 volt charger.
If connected + to - (series) then you need a 12v charger.

You can buy Battery Chargers that do both voltages, 6 and 12 volt.

Some have a selector switch and others have a selector link.

Hope this might help.
