Hi,

I sent off my subscription to the Dethleffs Owners Club last week and received confirmation of my membership. I've tried to enter their website tonight but the message, " THIS ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SUSPENDED" is displayed.

Does anyone know if this is just a glitch on the internet, or have they folded?

Regards

Not long enough!
Reports of the death of the Dethleffs Owners Club are exaggerated!!

Hi everyone,
I have been running the Dethleffs Owners Club UK for the last 6 and a half years and I am pleased to tell you all that it is alive and kicking! We will be on the Deadlegs /Dethleffs stand at the NEC show in October if anyone wishes to say 'Hi'.
We 'upgraded' the website recently using a web development company that promised the world (passwords/members section etc etc.....) and we paid up front. DOH!!
I am still hopeful that the passwords system will shortly be OK but the rest of the club is in fine fettle.
We specialise in obtaining parts (right down to decals and other tiny parts that dealers don't want to bother with ) as Dethleffs last for decades and it pays to keep them original and nice.
We also found that some insurers 'load' premiums against european motorhomes, thinking that parts are hard to get (Dethleffs are fantastic for parts) so we ran a members survey and we have a shortlist of friendly, quality insurers for members.
I got into motorhoming with an ancient Dethleffs and it was so solid that I took on the club. This allows me to be able to help owners of older GlobeTrotters and caravans especially.
Thanks for having me.
