Runner bean tree ? !!! (1 Viewer)

Hi, Anybody got any idea what sort of tree this is . They look like runner bean trees albeit the fruit or seed pod is round like a cucumber about half an inch in diameter, unlike a runner bean which is flat sided.
We came across this tree at an aire at Campeneac, lovely aire free by a nice lake in a small village.

started when I was 11 with my parents-forgot to stop!been real one since 1980!
Looks like a spaghetti tree.

It is a Indian Bean tree (catalpa bignoniodies) they originate from the USA.:thumb:
