Hi, any funsters going to the NEC is'nt the CC camping fees a bit steep although it does include elec.

Are they using the North Car Park again?

We went 2 years ago and conditions on the campsite were awful, mud, big puddles, vehicles being splashed all over with wet mud, electric kept failing.

Certainly not to the standard expected for what they charged us £30 a night.

Oh, there was entertainment but it was in the car park on the opposite site.

We've been to NEC shows twice. Stayed at Warwick Racecourse & Chapel Lane CC sites and went to the show as day visitors (plenty of day parking). There are other sites and CLs/CSs within easy driving distance for those who don't want to pay the on-site fees.

Yep we are going , catching the train from Euston . Planning on buying a Esprit as the Bolero 630 PR has been discontinued ,that's if a good deal can be had :thumb:

We stay a Somerswood Caravan Site, cheaper but with proper facilities including hard standing. It's about 7 miles but can be reached without using any of the main roads.
