Check out this site, gives you a daily update on fuel and LPG all over Europe, also found cheapest diesel and LPG in Lokeren Belgium Diesel was €1.34 p/l and lpg was €0.56 p/l Regards Garry Flatpackchicken

We did that last year. As we got towards the border with the warning light showing Jean was getting more and more anxious. We were nearing the final stretch, runnung on fumes, and hit a lengthy queue at roadworks! I kept switching the engine off as each group got through the lights and after what seemed ages we got through. We rolled down every hill until we reached the border and holding our breath until we reached the first garage. Boy were they busy there. People must have come miles for the cheap fuel. We finally got filled up and I had never put so much fuel in the tank in one go!

OK, in Holland, just outside Amsterdam two weeks ago, diesel was €1.54 then at a garage outside Brugge it was €1.52, we've since been travelling across the top of France with an average price at U March supermarkets it has been around €1.38 and now we are on the way South near Bordeaux and it's €1.31. With a bit of luck, by the time we get to Spain, they will be paying us.

Where to buy diesel

Weve just come back from a stay with my wife's family in Fulda, t'other side of Frankfurt. You might already know this but we didn't. When I asked which garage I should fill up at they said "fill up on Sunday, it's cheaper."

Well I didn't believe them of course.... But they were right! €1.43 went down to €1.36. Gary
