i have taken out a whale pump up0814 30 psi and flow rate of 2.2 these are no longer available so i bought a universal uf0812 only to find it is only 15 psi flow rate the same . will this be ok? anyone had this problem?

Put it on and see what happens.. Guess it can only pump a little slower...

it is bigger and seems more robust than the old one. the cut out pressure is 15 psi/1bar does that mean the system operates at less pressure is that a good thing?

It will only make a difference to the shower. If it was anaemic to start with, you might prefer a higher pressure.

The normal taps won't notice. Although if you normally get bangs when you turn off the taps, this will improve.

If you got the flow rate the pressure doesn`t matter that much, the shower should be the same
