Currently parked up in a nice Brit Stop near Oakhampton and Meldon.
There is access to a walk literally over the road leading to the "Devon Way" A reasonable walking challenge for us and two dogs.

Restaurant was informal serving good pub grub. I had spring lamp steaks and mash which was very tasty.

There is meant to be fresh water here but the only tap is directly over a trap for chemical toilets. We are newbies and not sure what is the done thing so we didnt take on any water. Otherwise a very good Brit Stop.

Hi

We are off to Devon next weekend and have the Britstops guide so we will look this one up. Thanks for the review.

Our first stop in Devon though will be Woodlands Grove campsite - 5 nights including ehu and admission to the adjoining theme park for only £49! (website).

Have great time. Hope the weather is as good as this week.
We also loved Widemouth Fields Park. Exceptional views and a very good shower block. Close to the bay (one mile)

Hi Paul,

Having read your thread above I've been on their site.

Am I reading it right? They're asking £13.50 a night. For 5 nights, that comes out at £67.50, (and they're not open until 28th March)
