....well either that or I'm going blind. I can't find it in the camping section of LeClerc or Intermarche or SuperU and I did get it there earlier this year. All they have on offer is some piss weak (yeah ok - pun intended) stuff that requires FOUR times the recommended dosage to keep things smelling sweetly. So if you're coming to France - bring some with you. I've tried the Camping Gaz stuff from Decathlon - equally bad!! Maybe, Jim if you're reading this you might pull the tarp off the MHF Tiger Moth and run a mercy mission to the Ardeche and parachute me a few bottles.

You may also consider fitting a SOG system {or the same thing home made I think Tonka built one}

Then you dont need anything + you can empty the toilet at any public toilet no need for cem disposal point.

Pays for itself and a simply DIY job

Beter for the enviroment as you dont need to fly the TigerMoth.

Just buy a bottle of 'adoucissant' - from Carrefour/Aldi/lidl/Leclerc etc. etc. ...

1 euro something a litre.

I used to use bio tablets from Aldi but to be honest dont even bother with those now.. Dont seem to be any issues, open the roof vent while in action and all is ok.. :thumb:

I have been a SOG convert for many years and to my mind the benefits are;

1) Saves cash as no fluids required
2) No longer wasting time adding fluids
3) Can be emptied anywhere chemicals are banned (well almost anywhere:winky:)
4) Empty more regularly as chemical not being wasted
5) Because the cassette is vented there is no pressure build-up so no blowbacks in your face when flap is opened:Eeek:
6) Less odour inside your m/h
7) Guarantees a little extra space on crowded aires:ROFLMAO:

There are probably more pro's that haven't come to mind and I cant think of any dissadvantages. Point #7 is not really effective if you replace the filter occasionally.

Note to Mr SOG .......
Please PM me for address to send commission cheque :winky:

Any bio washing liquid will do just as well if not better than the chemical stuff. Smells better, and like a SOG system, can be emptied in public toilets
It's so much cheaper too

Aqua Kem Blue

Hi Ponyboy,

I have just looked at the web sites for Destinea and Top Accessories and the both list Blue - Top Accessories at 15€ and Destinea at 13€50. Narbonne Accessories are more expensive at 15€90. They all also list A K Blue sachets.

For easier access to the product, you should find it in Leroy Merlin. They are showing it at 12€90

Many of our poor bretheren here in the North have been using Blue or Green Loo tablets from the many £1 Shops, card of 6 for a pound. No mess no waste, just bung a tablet in the casette, no need to un-wrap. Works well and speaking to our local drain service engineer, its something they have used for years. Perhaps its just a Northern thing?? Happy LLllllllooooooo.
Best Regards Mac
