Off to Dusseldorf in the morning and need to park up tonight to catch early ferry. Any help or advice appreciated. May meet a few more funsters at the show.

As above, but try the car park next to the Dover Patrol monument, St Margarets at Clliffe, (Granville Rd). Great views over the channel and great walks if you get there early. There are usually cars there but after about 4pm, when the cafe shuts, there is usually plenty of space as the other campers turn up.
We regularly go there for the day ( we were there yesterday). It's a pleasant walk down to the beach. Nice pub ( The Coastguard) too

Its Marine Parade for us too, always seems to be plenty of room. Easy walk into town for very good fish and chips.

If you get to Dover too early to park up I can recommend a visit to the National Trust White Cliffs site overlooking the cliffs and port (Broken Link Removed). We managed to park our 7.5 metre motorhome okay, mind the place was busy and we were in the way a bit. Terrific view of the port so you can watch the ships come and go if you like that sort of thing or theres a decent cafe etc.

The parking at marine parade is free after 6pm and before 9am. There is a 3.5T weight limit, but this does not appear to be enforced in any fashion.

Marine Parade is a NO Caravan/Motorhome area. Waterloo Crescent and the Esplanade are OK.

Parked here last night. Wonderful spot with all the Germans parked up for the night. Many thanks for the advice.:thumb:

Hi
Is it still possible to park in Waterloo crescent at this moment in time?
Our German friends are visiting us in May and require to spend the night in Dover. I am a little out of touch the last time we stopped overnight was in Marine Drive, they are arriving at night after 6pm so it would be a good stop for them before their onward journey to us the next
morning
has anyone stopped in that location recently? I just would like to be sure.

Many Thanks vana
