Caravan & motorhome 45 + yrs
Just got home after a night stop at Briersfield...

Well pleased with the new M/Home .... pulls like a train even with a toad on an "A" frame...

Oodles of locker space and an adjustable garage that`s as big as our RV`s was... so storage will not be a problem...

The Air suspension is superb... all the electronic add on`s we have yet to sort out exactly how they work... they did show us, but there are so many we have forgotten what they told us...

Got Sky dish with Internet TV and internet.... for got how to work that already...

As far as I can tell we are getting approx. 22 - 24 to the gallon... maybe a little more or less...

The 6 speed Manual/Auto box is a treat to drive... and purrs along in 6th with toad on the back at 2,100 rpm & 70 miles an hour...

Any regrets in such a short time.... NO... except the space to stand up and walk around inside, but we will over come that...

Just looking forwards to going away when we want and to where we want without holding an inquest with google to see where the LPG stations are, will we get down the lane that leads to the campsite, will the campsite be able to take our size... etc, etc..

Going to be picking a lot of peoples brains at Shepton... how does this work,,,, how do you switch this on that on.....::bigsmile:

Nice van Mo:thumb: well it is a start. Get rid of a couple of those wheels and 10' off the back and you could be getting close. :winky: Truthfully, it looks very nice. You are a lucky Old Mo.:thumb:

It think it is absolutely gorgeous,,, Oh' for a leather interior and all the mod cons.
I would be temped to sell the house with that puppy on the drive - I know it would be a struggle to walk passed it on my drive to go to work for sure.

Enjoy it Mo - "there are no pockets in a shroud mate".:roflmto:

Mel

So I was informed,,,, Factory fitted....

The unit has towing capacity and recommended either 2,500 KG or 3,000Kg...

Wont be sure till the log book comes back, but whatever puts me OK for my C1 of E... 7,5 Unladed and 8.25 with trailer... where with the yank I was border line..

Well what a fabulous looking van,I wish you many happy trips in it!!
I remember when I had a Winnebago Dayvan,small block 5 ltr engine.
My god petrol was cheap then and LPG not common, two tanks at £60 each tank.
Haven't we come a long way since then?
Luckily most of my trips involved a load of biker mates all chipping in for ferries and fuel, wasn't so bad.
Buy a cheap dictaphone Mo then when someone explains how something works to you record it and play it back when you need haha.:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I cant comment, John till I get the log book back...

But I`m given to understand the chassis has been upgraded...

The guy used to carry a M-Bike in the garage and tow a trailer and "A" frame...

Hence the fitting of VB-FullAir suspension unit....

I have not got my head round it yet,,,, but I can jack the back up and it looks like I have added extra springs... or if driving along and there is a bad camber in the road, I can press a button on the umbilical unit a get it to drive level inside, in other words I can jack one side up so your sitting level... it`s weird...

Played around and jacked the whole front up and it felt like we were going up a hill from the seats and visa versa...

I've had a thought Mo, lower the front and raise the back and enjoy the huge increase in fuel economy associated with always going down hill..............:thumb:

Love the van, pity it doesn't say "Burstner" on the front though.....:ROFLMAO:
