I have one long arm mirror on RHS of my 1989 Peugot Talbot Highwayman Express. The other was clipped off by a French driver in France. I would like to put 2 new mirrors on but don't know where to start. Would anyone with any knowledge of what mirrors I need to get please reply. I would be most grateful for any advice. Thank you.

The old wing mirror that I can no longer get looks like the one I have uploaded. I am looking for any wing mirror that will fit a Peugeot Talbot Highwayman Express.

I have to say Clara that this bunch of Funsters rank amongst the most knowledgeable and helpful I have ever known, but I think you'd stand more chance of assistance if you took a photograph a little closer to the vehicle.

Best of luck....Griff :thumb:

They are called D bars I had them on my Hymer I was able to replace them from a commercial vehicle/bus/truck spares supplier.http://www.ebay.co.uk/bhp/universal-truck-mirrors
A lot easier to source than the single arm version

Thank you, great idea. I have been checking out the truck/coach possibility, but again, it is which one to buy. Would the universal one fit? The reason I ask is because I bought a universal blind spot mirror and it didn't fit! I don't mind drilling extra holes to attach it ....just as long as it fits. The D arm currently on the RHS of my motor home has a length of 370mm and it juts out by 310mm at the bottom and 360mm at the top. The mirror dimensions are 300mm x 170mm.

I have attached close up of the type of mirror I am trying to replace.
