That looks loverly, any chance of a few details?
Can you launch a boat from there and is fishing allowed?

Hi Sharon & Highwayman.
Yes it is very nice!!
Boat launching is permitted :thumb:however I do not know if small outboard engines are allowed. Large outboards are a no no,:Eeek: but you will see a couple of R I B S with larger engines used as rescue boats.
It is run by some trust (maybe Snowdonia) and the guy comes around daily to collect the launch/lake fee.:ROFLMAO: I suggest that you contact the tourist information office (sorry I do not have contact numbers and this particular campsite closes throughout the winter.:Doh:
The last time that we went to this site it was (2006) it cost £14 with hook up.

Gee and I thought this was the Wild Camping Section. Camp sites are Not Wild are they?

Parking at Bala Lake

Last year we were able to park free at Bala Lake at the end nearest the town which looks very similar to the photograph. There was some notice or other but we went and spoke to the warden and he said provided we went the next morning there was no problem.
