If given only two choices, on a 26ft motorhome would you have a
fiamma f45s or
fiamma f45L

what is the real difference between these two awnings does anyone know

thanks

many many years! since I was a kid
the 45l is a heavier weight awning with a stronger roller tube. this makes it better for longer length awnings. the 45s is more compact with a double bead slot at the front but the roller tube is smaller. with a big awning gusts of wind can bend the smaller tube easier

The 45L lists the canopy size as 535cm which is 5.35metres or 17ft 6approx

The 45s lists the canopy size as 431cm which is 4.31metres or 14ft 1approx

I still do stuff in feet. so does this mean that I would lose 3ft with the 45s?

sorry I am thick as two planks on this technical stuff because the actual awning length difference is only about 7cms

The material is ripped too far to repair and we need an awning urgently to house others so we are having to buy a new one

i have the F45S, I have to say its quite flimsy, even in a small breeze it rattles around a bit. If the"L" version is more solid I would go for that.

Personally I would go with an Omnister. No contest as far as I am concerned.

as the privacy room etc is fiamma it works out cheaper to stick with fiamma Chris, but thanks for your comments.

If money was no object I would go for the one that automatically winds itself in when the wind gets too strong but my pocket wont stretch that far

I agree if you have the privacy room already:thumb:
