Since 2012 but longer in my dreams
Just landed on the Isle of Bute,to see the Highland games and have 4 nights wilding and trying out our new kayak.
The drive up was quiet as I gagged the others and put them in their beds.Fuel economy was diabolical, however I did find out the van would do 95 mph on the flat and 110 downhill ! The only plus point to report is that at those sort of speeds when you dump your waste water it turns to a very fine mist! So is quite inconspicuous.

What a lovely place, went there as a child on holiday with my gran. She was friends with the zavaroni family who had a lovely cafe on the front.

I'm sure at 95 to 110mph your fuel consumption was exceptional.......as is your speedo error. :ROFLMAO:

many many years! since I was a kid
dont be too quick to say 95 -110mph is an error. my mrs told me off in germany when she noticed I had allowed the speed to creep up to over 90. at that speed the 3.0l engine was just purring nicely. I am certain with a bit of extra pedal it would easily do over 100:Eeek:
