I have taken some of my stickers off the plastic windows that I wanted to keep prior to trading it in and have some residue left on the Windows from the double sided adhesive tape that I used to stick them on with.
I would like to clean this residue off but I am afraid of using solvent because it might melt the plastic windows.
What can I use to clean this off please, it looks rather unsightly.
Don't like to leave it for the dealer to clean off.

Aldi have 'Sticky Stuff Remover' in at the moment (with the back to school stuff). Don't know if it contains solvent but it states it is suitable for glass, metal, plastic etc. Have a read of the label.

VERY hot water and soap

hot water will soften it then the soap, rubbed directly on, should desolve it.

Sticky Stuff Remover,

It is brilliant stuff have used it for years, always keep some in the caravan and Motor home. safe on plastics, glass, etc. not messy like soap and water, only a small amount is needed, leave for a minute then wipe off,
