Leaving for Europe in September. Need hottest places with good wild camping or free aires.
Will be staying approximately til March. All advice welcome. Would like to stay on mainland unless there are cheap ferries to warmer places.
Please give as much info as possible. Thanks.

If you want hot and cheap with plenty free camping then Morocco is for you. Ferry is less than 200 Euros return. There is plenty info on here, just do a search.

Our fourth glorious year!
If you are going September to March you will need to watch that you are not over the six months unless you are happy to be classed as non UK for tax purposes.Thats why we are leaving later going to France mid October and finishing with the Fun meet near Malaga in March before getting back hopefully in the nick of time!:thumb:

I suspect many people wish they could be classed as none UK resident for tax purposes, but it takes more than just staying away for 6 months.

Taken from the HMRC web site:

It is important to understand what is meant by 'resident in the UK' because this will determine what UK tax you have to pay. There is no special definition of the word 'residence' for tax. It takes its normal, everyday meaning. It is not just about whether you have a house or flat in the UK or about how much time you spend there, but the more connections you have with the UK the more likely you are to be UK resident.
You can be resident in more than one country at the same time.
If you have always lived in the UK and no other country then you are resident in the UK.
Number of days spent in the UK
There is no minimum length of time that will make you resident - but if you are in the UK for 183 days or more in a tax year, you will be resident in the UK for that tax year. Generally the more time you spend in the UK the more likely you are to be UK resident.

Head for the Murcia region of Spain. The Tabernas desert, in Almeria next door, is the only natural desert area in Europe. If you have ACSI membership there are a number of participating sites open all year. We're usually swimming in an outdoor pool in January on a site near Puerto Mazzaron.

Just had a quick check on ferries to Tenerife. I was quoted £895 return and they don't show booking options after December 31. Good if you can let me have a link to a 550 bargain.
Thanks
