We were told recently that our van leans to the right. It was suggested at the time that it could be a fault with the TORSION BAR what ever that is. We are at present in Edinburgh and making a few stops (over 3 to 4 weeks) on our way to London.
Is this an urgent problem and should be seen to or can it wait. If urgent where is the best place to go to, tried National Tyres they cant lift the van.
The van is still under warranty.

torsion bar suspension on the t2 ,s stopped in 79. as your is later it hasnt got torsion bars . could be the coil springs just getting old .
if a garage told you torsion bars best not use them to fix it .

being told it could be a torsion bar problem points to an ALKO chassis.

early ALKO had one bar per side, and you'll know if that snaps, later ones had 3 torsion bars per side and if one snaps it will ride lower.

they all run inside the axle tube so cant be seen externally

if one snaps the chances are the others wont be far behind with the excess loading on the remainder.

you need a caravan/motorhome repairer to inspect it as normal garages wont have a clue.

almost 100% certain they are not repairable so get it done under warranty soonest, as a new rear axle is in excess of £1500 plus fitting.

Lunar roadstar 786 appears to be an Alco chassis.

They started in a T25 by a careful reading of their profile???

I thought Alco chassis so didn't advise as I am not familiar with them any more.
