should that read 1euro 79.9cents

79.9c is equal to around 65pence

current UK diesel price is around £1.40

I paid €1.19 for diesel in Rouen in June this year. That's just over £1 a litre. Of course, it would have been rude not to fill up as the fuel light had come on. I reckon I saved about £30 over UK prices on a tankful.

And diesel is e1.29
