where shall we stop next? (1 Viewer)

We are in Wick till Monday or Tuesday and thinking of where to stop next. We thought of Aviemore but don't do outdoor sports, but like walking, so are thinking about Pitlochry. Which would be better? Thinking of stopping three or four nights. We intend to see Edinburgh and the Falkirk Wheel, would like to do from one base, so any good stops to do these two would also be helpful.

What about Inverness? There are two sites there, Torvean and Bught Park.

I would stop at the site at Fortrose and go Dolphin watching.Near enough for a day visits to Inverness, Culloden, Fort George and Cromarty....great view right on the beach.:thumb:

Thanks for that swmbo has decided Inverness for three nights. Sounds like a shopping trip coming up
Then drive out to fort George or nearby to see the dolphins.
