Hi,

We recently took delivery of a sightly used TEC RoTec Lift 652G motorhome and took it away at the weekend. Everything worked and everything was great.

Slight problem with the fridge, worked fine on hook-up and could hear a spark when gas was selected, but when on 12v, there was a red LED flashing in a triangle symbol. We have literature for all the appliances apart from the fridge, so can't even look it up ! The interior light comes on but as we only went an hour away from home, I don't think it got very cold.

Any ideas ?

Little tip;

Make a 'garage' lead (ehu with plug on end) - they are handy anyway!

This will allow you to put the fridge on for a couple of hours before you go away somewhere and run from your house mains. If you have no drive, then put it on gas. After a few hours of cooling, it will keep cool on 12v.

To cool from 12v alone is a big ask from ambient temp - would take probably 8 hours of travel!

A good tip before going away is to have ice blocks already frozen down, we use 4, that way fridge is all ready cool and 12 volt don't have to work that hard, and most of all food is kep't cool:thumb:Alf, Enjoy your new adventures in the MH:thumb:
