As we all use USB to charge our phones etc, has anyone seen or installed a surface mounted 12v usb or multiple USB outlet, dash mounted or otherwise?

CBE make one in their modular series of sockets and switches - on the Italian manufacturer's website. It is for surface mounting on furniture, not a dash. CBE items are stocked by Marcle, CAK and, I think, J Cross. Cannot see the USB item listed anywhere but a stockist might be able to get one for you.

I use the Griffin 2xUSB doobrie plus one of these.. Does the trick.

It would be neat to have an integrated USB socket in the wall though if there was such a thing. Or a 12v to USB adapter in one item. But I've not seen such a thing.

Guys, I have a number of USB thingies, but what I wanted was the ability to have it mounted flush with the dash, I have an Android phone, Android Tablet, MrsShiftZZ's Nokia, TomTom, and a forward/rever camera, plus an e-fag to charge... just thought a 6 mor 8 flush mounted USB thingy would have been good..

Coincidently was chatting to a rep from Autotrail about lack of power outlets and he let slip they are introducing a double usb socket in their 2014 range.

Not quite what you want

But I have bought 3 of these (you get a pack of 3 for £5.59) so that I can connect 2 USB devices and still use the standard lighter socket - but this is only when driving.

Dave,
I have one of these.
It powers TomTom through the fag lighter bit, charges phones, e cig etc. through the other two.
If you just want the USB function without the central fag lighter socket, go to the £ shop.
They work. I have them in the car and in the MH.
I also use one of them with a 12v fag lighter type socket as on this thread already.
