Hi - I am a brand new, disabled, motorhome newbie, and have only been out three times in it but am now totally obsessed and addicted! Given the choice, I would be out in it every weekend, but we have to arrange care for our twenty year old son who is blind and autistic. Use of our six year old Compass Avantgarde is further complicated by the fact that I have had both legs, my right arm, and most of my left hand amputated, as well as other health issues such as diabetes and a kidney transplant! However, I like a challenge, and have done some exciting things since owning the MH that I woudn't have done before. The best experience so far being a private falconry lesson at a shooting/archery/falconry centre called Perriswood, on the Gower peninsula. It was the most amazing thing I have done in ages, and I am now completely addicted to owls! I would be interested to hear if there are any other motorhoming amputees out there, but am quite happy to chat to anybody about anything! My hobbies include weaving, cooking and looking after my two sons - Thomas (20), and Alex (17), and my four Maine Coon cats
