Travelling along the A82 this afternoon going to Fort William, around the Glencoe Ski Centre doing about 50mph road narrows on a small bridge, then bang hit a ruddy big pot hole, didn't see it till to late. stopped looked at front wheels they look out of line, although cant notice when driving. So now got to find a garage to check it out. More unnecessary expense.:Angry:

Take photos of the pot hole, then send your repair bill to the local council that might get them to at least fill in the ot hole.

David.

We were up around Dumfries & Galloway area last week, never known such bad road surfaces, even A roads were pot holed and patched. Arrived at Garlieston and discovered pipes from grey water tank had shaken loose, thank goodness for duct tape.

The A82 is the worst road in Scotland, we hit a pothole near Bridge of Orchy, the engine packed up and had to be towed to Inverness, turned out to be a cut out switch. took a photo of the hole and within a day or so it was mended, they wouldn't compensate us though.

The roads in and around East Ayrshire have to be the worst:Eeek:
We can always tell when we come out of D & G and into East Ayrshire. Not sure what the council are spending the road tax funds on.........but it's not on the upkeep of the roads for sure:Angry:

Great news, no damage done just the tracking a bit out. Will take down the road to National Tyres when we get a free day. Got to agree there are some good views along that stretch.
