Hi,
Has anyone any experience using the generter that will go on sale on Thursday, it seems very cheap and aldi stuff is often good.

got one in the garage at home.

had it for quite a few years and it still works....when i can get the damned thing to start.
usually end up squirting WD40 in the inlet to help it start

power output voltage is very hit and miss as is usual with small 2 stroke unregulated generators....engine speed dictates output voltage and frequency so, until warm, it is variable to say the least.

certainly wouldnt recommend one for powering the motorhome as mine has shown as low as 190volts to a high of almost 300volts

You get what you pay for.

Personally - you cant beat a Honda generator. All the others try but fail to match them.

Hmmm! £59 against around £800 for a Honda.......no contest for rough and ready power, but for quality you cant beat Honda.

bet you never thought you'd heard that from a Kipor owner :roflmto:

Managed to purchase a Honda EU10i new with 5 year warranty from an approved supplier for a couple of pence under £700 yesterday, free courier delivery should get it Tuesday if anyones looking :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

I prefer a bit of finny haddock my self but my used 100 quid kipor keeps chugging on nicely thanks only 750 watt but charges battery's and runs little 500 watt heater what more do you want

Got three gennies...one from Makro years ago about 12 years, like the aldi one,these gennies have been selling for years cheap and cheerful.....my Makro one buggered a very expensive power drill up for me never used that makro gennie again.......got a Honda 10i 1kw brill.....also a Kipor 2kw very good....John (papajohn) is correct voltage does go up and down
