Bit out of touch with Euro-van`s in the last 8 years or so...

I rather like this one below, not worried about the over head drop down bed, would sooner have cupboards.... as long as it had 3 berths..

Think it has twin back wheels, although would sooner have a tag axle... I would be "A"`ing a car or trailer for continent..

Anybody got one or similar if so how do you get on with it.. ?

Only ever had Ford`s and Fiats, so not up on the problems I can expect from a Merc..

I have e,mailed the seller, but as yet no reply to a couple of questions..

Looking at other M/Homes from the seller, I think they must be brokers..

Not "Yank Trash" , Dave... we love it, but sitting down a chatting...

We would be more inclined if we had summat a little smaller, to just say sod it, nice weekend lets bugger off..

Where as our`s we have to think (Shows are different) can we get on site, can we get down the road to the site..

And I must admit,,,, I envy you guy`s when you go to France and stay on the aires, not cos most are free or little money,,,, but because where they are situated... Some look stunning...

Plus we would be more inclined to look at the calender and think the "Funsters" have got a meet at so and so next weekend...

Lets go and see if I can upset some.... :winky::ROFLMAO:

I just think it will open the door a bit more, and we will get more use out of one...

Only done two proper long trips this year...

Got to sell this one first...

Check the pay load... might be less than you are used to...

JJ

I`m limited now, mate.... this one has been down plated...

There is one new Hobby in the country, that would suit,,, tag axle with twin bedded rear bedroom... and toilet...

We had one some years ago and dragged a car on a trailer all over Europe...

The only problem we had was the drivers electric window packed up about a month out of warranty...

Wouldn`t say no to a Hymer tag axle... with a similar lay out.. :thumb:

Looks a beautiful van Mo, and all that you say makes perfect sense, if that one or similar gives you the opportunity to get on the road more, then worth making the change.

Not Long Enough...!!
Does not matter what you have as long as you are happy with it and your still Motorhoming. Good luck in what ever you decide and will catch up with you somewhere.

Oh nice looking Motorhome, That would be fine for us also if we ever decide to go European. Could have been a worse choice, could have a "w" name on it..

nowhere near long enough
Mo our Rapido is not the A class, Shiffty got it wrong as usual, we love it and almost nothing has gone wrong with it but-------- do check the payload, as previously stated, we have a huge garage and can put less than 40Kg in to remain within the 2000Kg rear axle weight

Can't remember ;)
Lovely van Mo :thumb:Mate reckons the engines are faultless :thumb: it's the electrics that are a pain :Eeek:IF the electrics are good then miles of happy motoring :thumb: but if they start to play up it's hair pulling time-says there are better over the last couple of yrs but for a truely trouble free you need one about 10 yrs older ::bigsmile:Apparently he says the mercs and VWs are better than most but in his opp they don't make a good van out there now :Smile:Talking comercials:winky:
