We have just moved 40 miles from Hay-on-Wye and stopped off at Cwmcuttan, a site owned by Dylan, a member on here, what a pretty place as the pictures below show.

I was hoping to fish in the lake but decided that it would not be very sporting as it is stuffed full of carp and rudd, the problem seems to be that Eileen has named them all and they come when called.

There is a lovely area just outside the gate for doggy walking and the whole place is alive with birdsong

And before Graham says anything--------It's SUNSHINING

Looks great, and it's sunny here as well Alan.

I expect it will be sunny here tomorrow - but what effect will the "Soggy Factor" have on Wales? Could be swimming with those fishes :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I was there last year, absolutely beautiful site.
Dogs and cat were as intrigued by the fish as I was. 100s of them.

And I was right. Some clouds in the sky but no sign of rain.

The view from our back door this morning. How are you doing Alan? ::bigsmile:

Were about 40 minutes away and had no rain all day. ::bigsmile: Started off quite dull but it's brightened up.

I was there last year and had a lovely, relaxing time. Am due to arrive there in the next few weeks and can't wait to see these two wonderful people again who have become great friends.

If anyone needs to simply chill out then this is the ideal place to do it.

Joy x

Safe travels Alan but I hope you're not going back to Tod. We're off to Otley for a long weekend and that's a might too close to the "Soggy Factor" if it's in Tod :roflmto:
