On our trip to Ireland with toad (Peugeot 107) in tow arrived on site on way back, turned key , it turned over but would not fire.
As late afternoon I thought I would ring rescue in morning. :thumb:
In my waking stupour the next morning I had a Eureka moment "must be a fuse" supply to ignition or ecu :Cool:
Checked all fuses none blown, turned key and it started genius I thought Used it all day touring Snowdonia no problem :thumb:
Next morning went to hook up on a frame and hitch for trip to next site, would not start again So towed to next site and rang RAC rescue. :thumb:
He arrived after just 10 minutes, fiddled here and there but could not find problem. He connects laptop to diagnose and the problem was ???
Spare key , which I use when towing, OUT OF SYNC
Each time it would not start I was using the spare key (not a plip type) but must still have a chip
Main key starts it just fine :thumb:
