Just given the camper its first wash - it's been on the road in the rains here in france for the last weeks. Everything cleaned up a treat except for some drip lines from the top of the unit. I can't shift them and suspect they come from rainwater running over whatever sealant was used to seal roof and side panel joints. They're not ALL THAT noticeable but it would be nice to know what to use (if anything) to shift them.
Cheers guys

Brasso - Just rub on gently, let it dry and polish off.

You can buy in any Caravan accessory shop a wash that is designed to remove streaks from Caravans and Motorhomes etc. Can't remember the name but used it recently and it did a great job. You add it to a bucket of water then ues it like any other wash.

of course you're right philip

just leave them and have another beer....... dont worry it will only get dirty again.

...and there's no one better at saying 'f*** it it's just a couple of war wounds" but I'm curious in a technical sense as to what the causative agent is and how it can be resolved. Beers do sound good though!!!

Bike degreaser from Poundland [can you guess the price?]. Same as MucOff, which diluted cleans the van gently and undiluted will get rid of anything. Within reason...

They also do a specific 'black streak' remover which I find works well.
Whatever method used it seems that giving it time to work is the key here.
