June & July will be cold in Europe.

We are just about to have a storm here in DeHaan Belgium.

Maybe the North Atlantic Conveyor is slowing down: http://www.nature.com/news/oceans-under-surveillance-1.12949

Most scientists regard the idea that global warming will trigger a collapse of ocean circulation — the apocalyptic scenario that inspired the 2004 action film The Day After Tomorrow — to be exceedingly unlikely. But Bryden says that the 2009 Atlantic circulation glitch is an indication of just how surprising ocean behaviour can be. “The next one,” he says, “may be twice as big.”
I'm going to need a bigger hot water bottle :Eeek:

Cold in biaritz

hi all just drove from peniscola to biaritz 21 degrees in spain now sitting in van gale force winds and driving rain. fortunatly after being refused entry at other sites due to being water logged we were fortunate to find acsi site la ferme erromardie near st jean du luz where we got the most friendly welcome and lovely clean well kept site if the sun was shining it would be perfect, hook up and fan heaters and french wine are a wounderfull thing. cheers Les and Jane. ps free wifi.

At Parc Verger we had a great bbq with the Munchies on Wednesday, and it is glorious outside now, temperature outside our bureau is over 20C already. Forecast is a bit cooler over the next few days, with a few showers over the weekend but then settling down around 20C. That'll do me, as I can get on with cutting the hedges!::bigsmile:
